YOU CANNOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE NOT 21. I wanted to put that out there in all caps so anyone who is contemplating coming to this restaurant sees that first and does not attempt to bring their family and get disappointed like we were. Lucky 13, it is not your fault that you are located in a state with the most ridiculous liquor laws, which is why I gave you five stars even if we didn't even make it INSIDE your establishment (because the host's stand is OUTSIDE the front door.) Utah says you gotta stop us sinners in our tracks and make sure the minors can't even witness a frothy beer being poured or (clutch my pearls) being CONSUMED! Sorry y'all, we are from Georgia, the very BUCKLE of the Bible Belt, and even Georgia doesn't have insane laws like yours. "Alcohol cannot be poured in a place where minors can SEE it happening..." I'm just over here shaking my head over my hard cider, which I am definitely drinking within sight of my kids. For anybody coming from outside of Utah, this review is to let you know if you have people in your party who are under 21 years old, you will not be allowed to enter the restaurant. You cannot get a table far from the bar. You cannot eat on their patio. You cannot eat here, Sam I Am. I suppose you could order your food to go, maybe over the phone in an alcohol-free bubble and send a legal adult to pick it up and take it back to your hotel room or the cute park nearby but you will not be getting into Lucky 13 to eat. Do I sound a little salty? Yes. Yes, I am. We flew into Salt Lake on Father's Day and I planned to take my husband and children here for our Father's Day meal because it had such great reviews and my husband is a burger and bacon lover. But, when we got there, my kids (who are 21 and 19) could not be allowed inside. Staff were very kind in telling us that we couldn't come in, but also very firm. So, Salt Lake Code Enforcement, Lucky 13 is honorably upholding your ridiculous rules. But that doesn't mean we weren't disappointed. It's ok though. Want to hear PEAK ridiculous? We found another place with burgers that looked good about 15 minutes away. A place my kids could legally eat. It was Corner BREW PUB at Sugar House...which is literally labeled a brewery. A BREWERY!!! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!! Also want to add, Lucky 13, we visited in June and you had your Pride flags waving like a welcoming rainbow and we loved that too. I imagine Utah can be a tough town for LGBT folk and it made my heart happy to see support throughout the city and at your place. Lucky 13, y'all are cool. Utah, COME ON. Who do you think you are saving? It's time to change some of these ridiculous laws. You are frustrating the tourists and I know we drop a lot of cash in your fair state.

Dropped in on St Patrick’s day weekend. Saturday was very busy if you showed up after 5PM. Sat on the patio. It was a bit cold but they had a lot of heaters going so comfortable enough with a coat. Tried the guacamole burger and bacon stinky burger. Both were very tasty. Burger and fries were about $15. For the quality and good sized patty, it felt like an awesome value. Our waiter JUAN was great and very attentive. Restaurant parking lot is small. There is a paid lot next door. Don’t be a dork and just park there and get a ticket. Just park on the street and walk a block. If you go on a night of a bees game, I’d assume parking would be tough. This was the second time here and the second was as good as the first so we will be back!

Our server was awesome. Super nice and checked on us plenty of times. The grill staff…not so great. We waited 1 hour 30 minutes! I was baffled. Our server was so sorry but we came hungry because we wanted to eat burgers and fries and wow…waiting for so long made me just want to leave. They said it was because they were catering for the Bees so I think I wish I knew to plan around that. Definitely don’t go on game night or when the Utes have a baseball game. They had plenty of seating on a Friday. I don’t think many people waited to get in. The Bees won’t be playing at this stadium for long though so maybe moving forward most people will be good. The food was good- I don’t think I’ll be back for a while for the food specifically. The bacon was extremely salty for some reason. But otherwise the burger itself was good. The rosemary garlic fries felt sloppily seasoned (not enough). The Cajun fries were over seasoned. I’m not trying to be so picky but I think I noticed more since the food took so long and people rave about how good their burgers are. Is it overhyped? Not sure. I definitely think these burgers are good, I just don’t know if I would go out of my way to wait an hour and a half again. Women’s restroom is weird. The door is so high…when you sit, the bottom of the door is at your knees.

The Ring of Fire burger is awesome if you like spicy food. Habanero peppers in the middle, so know what you're getting into. Garlic & rosemary fries were great. Good beer selection on tap, Bohemian black lager was solid. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.

Great place for a burger and fries—the food was excellent, and I really loved the lively atmosphere. It’s a pretty busy spot, so booking ahead for the evening is definitely a good idea. Service was efficient, though it did feel a bit rushed at times to turn the table. That said, I’d absolutely go back. They also have an extensive beer list, which was a nice bonus! I was dubious about the pickle spears.....however you need to try them turned out great

Got the Swiss and Pastrami Burger which was a monster, very good and cooked well. The bartender was able to recommend their bacon and jalapeño which added to the monster. Wish I could have finished the fries but it was a lot of food. Parking is absolutely atrocious so plan ahead as it is very limited.
